Important Notice for Apprentices and Journeymen With Medical Marijuana Prescriptions

The Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Administrative District Council of New Jersey Apprentice Training and Education Fund (the “Fund”) encourages any apprentice or journeyman with a medical marijuana prescription to disclose your prescription to the Apprentice Coordinator.

You should be aware that certain regulations may require you to complete pre-employment drug test. These pre-employment drug tests are typically conducted by urinalysis and, if you test positive for marijuana during such a test, you may be dismissed from work and unable to work on that project in the future. If you would like to request not to be referred to these federal projects, you should contact the Apprentice Coordinator and Union.
